My continuing saga of rock n' roll and needless melodrama

Anyone know why all of my "interests" and "about me" info has suddenly disappeared??  Didn't think anything was too offensive...?

I recently came home from touring with L.A Guns (ex- Guns n' Roses guitarist's band), Jack Viper and Red Star Rebels.  Of course, the usual elements were there...loud music, rock n' roll and lots of partying, but you'd be surprised how much one can learn from such a week. 

There is a particular question that people often ask me, without really realising its complex and diverse nature.


"Are you religious?" 


Hmmm...one would think that this would be a simple black and white answer, however, in my 20-plus years of experience, this does not seem to be the case. 

This is such a cheap shot, but since rock music, and the alternative scene as a whole, plays such a large part in my social and cultural paradigm, I'm very shabbily advertising my rock website.... www.myspace.com/rockinlondon.

Basically, if you're bored and find yourself wondering if there's any rock gigs happening here in good ole London town, check the myspace site and you'll find listings of local London rock gigs...you'll also find interviews, gig reviews, and some pretty decent music as well, if I do say so myself. 

This art was done by Miss Britain Kitten http://www.britainkitten.co.uk/As an individual who was raised in a Christian home, I was also raised with the belief that sex before marriage is wrong.  I say this under the assumption that the majority of people reading this blog will either be able to relate to this, or at least be familiar with this particular teaching.

Those of you who know me may be aware that I'm pretty serious into the alternative scene.  The main focal point of the scene, for myself and many others, is the Intrepid Fox pub, located at 99 Wardour Street, Soho.  Not only is this a thriving business, but it is also where my church is located.

It was never my intention to write a series of essays regarding this one book.  But I have decided that by keeping an up to date log of my thoughts regarding Dostoevsky's work, I would avoid the predicament that I experienced after reading the Hunchback of Notre Dame that is, being innundated with thoughts, feelings, ideas and suggestions, but then forgetting the more poignent of these due to not keeping track of them.
