After a really long day yesterday we are finally on our way home, its been a really awesome trip and we are exhausted. Yesterday our flight was delayed by 5 hours and we ended up getting in at 2 in the morning. I think I may sleep till Monday! We are sitting eating bacon and eggs at the airport and are already feeling ready for London comforts. This trip has definetly made us appreciate our comforts back home. Oh well Wifi time is running up and we about to eat brunch. We havnt been upgraded ;-( but we will manage;-). See you all soon.

India Trip

Take off 11.30 (London) 26-10-06
Wow what an amazing 24 hours. I planned to leave work at 4.30 yesterday but as usual didn’t leave till just before 6. Ran into Boots grabbed some adapters and then headed for HTB for week 4 of Alpha. Charlie gave an awesome talk on prayers and our group discussion was great. The past 4 weeks have been surreal. I have been through some real lows that I havn’t experienced since being here from January last year. The question was, was the Devil trying to stop me going to India. Now sitting on the plane I can see why he didn’t want me to come. God has amazing plans for us and he has shown us a glimpse of what’s to come even before we left. We raised £4500 without much effort. We had planned some cool events to raise money but GOD had different plans. We raised the money in one pastorate party and are still so thankful to everyone’s input no matter how big or small. Richard managed to get us complimentary return tickets on Heathrow express and we are eternally grateful for these as it saved us a lot of time and hassle. I have spent the last 3 weeks debating on what bag to take, sounds dumb but I wasn’t sure if a suitcase would work. So I shopped and shopped but got no real conviction that I was making the right decision buying this bag. It turns out my house mate Chris had the exact bag I wanted and has leant me his. This was a real gift from God and again I am so thankful to Chris for lending me this amazing bag. It’s so big that I could probably have fitted an extra person in it with my luggage, but hey Gods probably got a plan for it.

A Surprise In Heaven

I was shocked, confused, bewildered,
As I entered Heaven's door.
Not by the beauty of it all,
Nor the lights or its decor.

But it was the folks in Heaven,

To all my friends who read this- Lets be POSITIVE
