Born in Oxford and raised in Oxfordshire, I managed to escape as far as Durham for three years to do my undergraduate degree in Classics and then Edinburgh to do a masters in Philology and Homeric language.

After having the benefits of a classical education, I'm now a chartered accountant. I have been an auditor for four and a half years but now I have moved to the Corporate Tax department - what could be more interesting? (Rhetorical question!)
