The Year Of Living Biblically

So I have started to read this book "The year of living biblically".  I have to say that it has been a really great read so far.  I guess you have to approach it with an open mind but it is great stuff.  This is a journalist that decides to live his life by the bible literally for one year.  Each chapter is based on a verse and he keeps things really relatable.  My favourite bit so far is when he stoned an an old man in a park that confessed to being an adulterer- which then resulted in a nasty spat.  The thing I have found the most helpful is the way he sums up different faiths and what they believe in a really simple way.  I havent got to the end yet so please dont kill me if it all goes pear shaped, but I am pretty sure that you would love to read it if you like straight forward yet honest testimonies written by those who havent figured it all out yet.
Let me know how you like this book. I read an article on the guy in a magazine called Relevant. Great magazine. They did their five years in review and highlighted this guy again and shared the stoning story.  I thought the interaction was pretty funny.
