I know the word Facebook offends some of you here - but i unashamedly think it's fantastic...and not least, in fact perhaps most, because if this is what is made possible, then... 'Glory'.

If you're not signed up to Facebook yet, you may not be able to follow that link, so here's what it's about...
Basically some guy has started a 'Group', but unlike a lot of the frivilous groups on Facebook like, 'If 1,000 people sign up to this group i'll eat my boxer shorts', or 'Badger appreciation society' (both, made up titles - though, i'd love to know more about Badgers...another day, another post!)
....Anyway, this group's purpose is to raise money for the fantastic charity, Compassion

This guy is extraordinary! I think i might start watching the show 'Britain's got talent' now... just look at the expressions on the judges' faces and the response of the audience when this guy opens his mouth...

Friends...I am torn.

For those of you who don't understand football, you might as well stop reading now and preserve any good opinion you might have of me.

For those of you who are familiar with the cream of life...
Liverpool have quite a big match on Tuesday evening. And the atmosphere for matches like these at Anfield is second to none and nowhere. But i can't watch it.

Got back from an amazing week in Kampala for the Uganda Alpha conference - more later!

the prayer weekend was awesome, as you can read here. so thanks to those of you who prayed - still recovering from the 3-5am prayer watch though! It's also astounding how beautiful my wife can look after so little sleep!

Note: i actually think this is too harsh, having quoted it, i don't agree with it universally, but it made me chuckle with meloncholy - there are some churches doing 'church', or trying to do it as Christ intended... but if we are honest, the above quote would tap into what a lot of people feel about 'Christendom' or 'Religion'... or am i wrong!?

I'm just about to head off to HTB's annual Prayer Weekend. It's going to be totally amazing. End of.

Please pray for us, that the prayer is anointed, that our prayers are God's prayers and we therefore join with the angels, rattle God's cage and "bring out of the future the longed-for new present".

Pete Grieg reminded us at Home Focus that in our intercession we are raised up into the decision-making processes of God. That's simply awesome.
