I’ve been tagged by Brian. I’ve done this blog before way back when I first joined AboutLife so this time I’ll do it a little differently.

I keep a diary. Not a gushing diary but just a short note of what I did that day just to jolt my memory.

So today I ate the tastiest boerewors roll ever.

Below are the entries for the 13th August (or the nearest date with an entry) in ……

2007 – Went to meet Brian at the pub near Oxford street [how cool is that? This was AboutLife Brian who just tagged me on this here blog. The date was actually Thursday the 16th August but I had no entry for the 13th, 14th or 15th so they must have been run of the mill work days]

2006 – Brad picnic in Richmond Park. Went with [my sister] into town & ate Korean. Watched “Lady in the Water” [so so movie]

2005 – Relaxed all day. Nuked my pizza. [I didn’t realise you couldn’t microwave a pizza. Smoke was everywhere and it set off the fire alarm. My neighbour rushed around to see if everything was okay. I had to leave the flat it was so smoky. I couldn’t breath]

2004 – Went to the European school reunion party. Stayed the night in Reading [some friends from my primary school in Brussels tracked me down for a reunion!!! Can you believe it!! This was so cool and I’m still in touch with some of them]

2003 – Bought a washing rack and walked back along the beach [this was when I was an exchange student in Vancouver. I walked from downtown back to campus. It took me over 3 hours!]

2002 – [Family] came round for fondue [this was my aunt, uncle & cousin who came round to visit me while I was on holiday in Cape Town. I love fondue]

2001 – Went to Brad’s spot in Northfields. Had a couple beers at a pub on the river. Saw Steven, Ian and the gang. Went onto Laura’s place.

2000 – Slept late, went to church, ate at the Chinese restaurant [this restaurant is the one near HTB on the way back to South Kensington tube stop. Quick & cheap]

1999 – Met up with Kim. Watched SA vs Australia at the Pharaoh bar in Putney. Ate at Nandos. Had a beer at the Springbok bar. Bumped into Olivia & Dave

1998 – Met up with Richard & Pascal at the Walkabout bar in Convent garden [Richard is my French cousin who tried to kiss me (as a greeting) in the queue outside the Walkabout. It was panic stations for a while]

1997 – Went to Greenwich & Canary Wharf. Walked around London with [my sister & my Mom]. Met up with Claire. Dinner at the Wibbly Wobbly [best pub in London]

I could go back further but it would become progressively more boring. Sorry.
