I am now 12 hours into my 14 and a half hour stop over in Dubai!!  Having arrived at midnight, (after a plane journey sitting next to two guys who's girlfriends were Christians but they weren't, which, obviously brought about some good conversations) I then went to buy myself what ended up being possibly the most expensive glass of wine ever (note to self, always work out the convertion rat bfore buying something Tishy!!) so that I could chill in a lovely bar!  I managed to persuade a really sweet bar lady to let me sleep on the comfy suede sofa but she had to wake me everytime her manager was about to come - resulting in me having only about 2 hours sleep!

I am now trying to kill time, walking around like a zombie, in what is possibly the most sural airprt in the world - Dubai!  The place is decorated with palm trees, there's a hotel, health spa with swimming pool etc in the airport, and tonnes of people sleeping on newspaper down the aisles!  Not to mention every now and then people suddenly burst into loud spontaneous chanting!!! - gave me a bit of a shock at 2am!

With two hours left to kill, I just cam across this free internet place - bonus!  Which, is particularly handy as I stupidly broke my phone before getting on the plane, so
now have no way of contacting people!!!!   - Sods law!

Ooh - have just seen a Starbucks in the distance, that'll help kill a bit of the next 2 hours!  Oh dear, also just realised a huge queue of people giving me 'evils' as I have been on here for far too long!!!!

Off to have a frapuccino!
