i am a stranger here

Went to a church in Germany this morning and was surprised by some of the songs that we sung. They weren't bad or anything, in fact some were songs I quite like, such as 'Open the eyes of my heart Lord' (Herr, öffne du mir die Augen). What was perhaps more surprising was that in this very small church, in a hemogenously German area, they sung about half the songs in English. I know God can und

Sometimes I feel like I'm in Barcelona.  Especially last week when I was there. 

It's an amazing city, right on the beach, baked in Catalonian sunshine and full of incredible architecture. 

Definitely the most impressive building is Gaudi's unfinished church 'La Sagrada Familia'.  The church has been in the process of being built for the last 100 years, and will probably take another 30 years or so to finish. 

I think the first entry in a blog is probably the most difficult, so I'll keep it simple.
