Josiah (Jed for short), our son, was born on 4th April 2007 and is doing well!

We've had lots of help from our extended family and it's helped that Mrs M-I is a midwife...

Jed's made a couple of pastorate meetings, but it's really past his bed time, so he might start going to a morning pastorate, probably taking Mrs M-I along with him.

We are expecting a baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!! (!)

The baby is due in late April.

Mrs M-I has a propensity for going to bed early at the moment (see next blog entry), hence not so much time for blogging.

But, the exciting news is that Mrs M-I has now become a driver - passing her driving test and not even nearly giving Maureen a run for her money...

Hi this is my first blog (Mr MI has bin hoggin' the bloggin'). 

I've been Mrs MI for almost 2 years now. (Right on queue our invite to do the marriage course arrived this week). This isnt a reason for needing encouragement though, i'd recomend the post to anyone!!!!

Hello!!

We're back from our blogging break (and from Focus) and we have have a new vision of blog which we would like to share with you, kind reader.

Our plan is to use our blog primarily to provide full live details of the Mitchell-Innes pastorate, including location, timings, talks, plans and our vision as a pastorate.

We'll probably do one main blog a term, which will stay at the top of the blogsite, and which will be tweaked continuously (or when needed) throughout the term.

Nintendo has changed the name of its new games console from the 'code name' 'Revolution' to the name 'wii'.

In the greater scheme of things, it may be hard to describe  this, or indeed a new games console, as really that revolutionary, but if you click here, you'll see that those little i's certainly are quite lively...

In August 2004, the unity that is The M-I's was created, by the traditional means of a wedding-style wedding.

During our leisurely 3.5 month engagement, we had ample time to attend the top quality Marriage Preparation Course. We found this really helpful in giving us an opportunity to talk about, and plan, various aspect of our relationship, engagement and future marriage. We also found it helpful to get top-tips to help make a mariage work.
