ok so im not going to ruin the movie but i am going to give it a great rating....it was very funny.. its a real Feel Good Movie.

i went with my mum and a really good friend last night using ORANGE WEDNESDAY.. it was my first time the novelty is amazing 2 people for the price of one...AMAZING>> ... (going to the cinema is sooo expensive.. £8.10 if you an adult and £6.10 if your a student.. of course me and mum went in on the student and paid £3 each BARGING)

I'm not of that world, I'm just in that world. But I love my job...

'Jesus Camp' a controversial new documentary airing the United States is set to divide opinion on how we teach children about God, our relationship with Him and the image that we proptray to others about Him

On the one hand, the results that Becky Fischer is having would cause many churches to be envious and to ask why they can't get that result with adults let alone children. On the other, it begs the question, what are we placing on our children and why.

Aw, man... that show, I mean wow! I thought, I should write something about the show of the season at the moment in the Langton household! I reckon we're gonna have to wait until Lost 3 gets onto DVD because we jumped on the band wagon and only started season 1 before Christmas and didnt finish in time to watch it on TV.

Last night I got ready for bed, watched about five minutes of crap t.v., propped up the pillows, zapped the telly off, and fell asleep with a wee prayer on my breath. Something along the lines of 'Thanks for a giving me a life worth living, beyond my wildest dreams, keeping my clean, and planting me in such a great place, with so many cool people in my life...', before drifting off...

I was awoken by the sound of someone/thing coming in the window, and the sound of and animal squealing; I thought it was the highly vociferous foxes that we sometimes get on the Charis grounds here in the East End. After a few moments sitting bolt upright in the pitch black, like some character in an Edgar Allen Poe novel, I heard the cheeky 'meeeiowww', punctuated by the padded paw intonations on the carpet. By this time, I'm smiling as I get out of bed, heading for the light socket, knowing it to be our neighbours cat, Basil.

A great passion of mine, as for many, was the stage, film and any form of art that told stories, pushed buttons and made shivers go down the spinal column.

I often found God in these stories, I found him in so many places within art. Afterall, most art evolves around love or the want for love.

Recently I met an old flame (as my mum would say) and I must confess I feel in love all over again. Only this time, this time it is slightly different. When I was first a student my house was addicted to daytime Channel 4. We loved 15 to 1 and Countdown. I was good at 15 to 1 and Ali was a master at Countdown. These two shows were the highlight of our day, whilst our engineer housemates were out at lectures, Ali and I (Computer Science and History respectively) would be glued to the TV. Ali had a thing for Susie Dent, I wonder what he would make of the fact that I now live in Oxford and she too lives in Oxford!!

Right this blogging is getting the better of me… this is the fifth time I have tried to write this post… help! It keeps failing to show up so here I go again.

I watched the first two episodes of series two lost last week and it got me thinking about being lost. I suppose we have all got lost at some point in our lives. Lost in a shop whilst shopping with our parents (as children!) but as adults the feeling of being “lost�? can go unrecognised. It seems to me that it is very easy to feel lost in this generation. In the TV show one of the major elements is that no one is looking for them but as a Christian we believe that God is looking for us all the time. So the parable of the Lost Sheep sprung to mind. It is such a well-known parable; I asked some of my non-churchy friends if they knew it and they all did. But has the powerful message of this parable been 'lost' in our society today? I'm not sure. In “why Jesus?�? Nicky talks about a god shaped hole in each of us and our uncanny ability to try and fill it with everything but God. I read all the time in the press about things that people are trying to fill this hole with. Other religions, shopping, careers, money etc. So it seems that the message behind this parable is even more relevant today. We are lost, but unlike the TV show someone is looking for us, never forgetting us and always wanting us.
