As you may have gathered from my name, I am German – and if you’d be speaking with me, I’d probably have already corrected your pronunciation of my name. Hehehe! (more like 'Ungelika' or 'ahn-GE-lee-kah'). I’m a minister of the Gospel and live in London, UK.

often i read blogs on here about the mother and daughter relationship and how its great and how there best of friends they recieve emails every other day. they cant go a day with out talking and well this comes from a forgien place for me. i still live at home and still live with my mum and dad.. and while me and my dad argue we dont really fall out as all i have to so after is come down and flick him and it starts into a play fight (my dad never had a boy and im the youngest so i get all the i wish you was a boy syndrome!!!)

Two weeks ago today, it was the start of the tour (le tour) and we were three, Wayne, Wendy and Jonathan.

Two weeks on and I am about to put my face around the door of church 'in anger' (as they say!) after a wonderful two weeks getting to know Charlotte.

So what have we learned...?

My dad (above) had a stroke on Monday and is paralysed on his left side. He will be doing intensive rehab for 6 weeks. Please can you send your strongest prayers this way? After my Mum died 2 years ago, I didn't think something like this could happen - but it has and I am still in shock and really upset. Thank you everyone...Fxx

I wish to welcome you all to our pastorate's blog. I hope that we shall all use it to enhance our faith in God, minister to the each other and the world at large and above all, as a source of our daily strength.

First, I have linked a few useful websites offering daily bible listening and verses and the proverbs of the day with archive bible reading. I shall also upload links with daily reading planner, which come hardy for those with limited internet exposure. It is my sincere hope that we can all add to this list to ensure that everyone is aware of useful websites out there.

It's a human problem. The problem of wanting the output of a situation and forgetting that the output comes from the inputs. We crave and desire the outputs of fame, glory, affirmation, wealth, faith even - but these things are not bestowed (well often not), but come through having focussed on the inputs.
When life is not working out how we want, when we sense we're not getting what we truly desire, its good to think about what we are inputting.

'Jesus Camp' a controversial new documentary airing the United States is set to divide opinion on how we teach children about God, our relationship with Him and the image that we proptray to others about Him

On the one hand, the results that Becky Fischer is having would cause many churches to be envious and to ask why they can't get that result with adults let alone children. On the other, it begs the question, what are we placing on our children and why.

I just cooked Chocolate Brownies with blueberries and toasted walnuts! We've eaten some up with ice cream and have loads left. I'm gonna give some away although Pete is ever so ever so possesive over them. But I can always make more!

Just got back from spending New Years with friends. Great to be at the beach again. Great company, sand, surf, tennis not to mention fantastic food. Amazing how just a few days in the right envoirnment can freshen us up.

One of the best New Year resolutions I have heard yet was --'I intend to have at least one big laugh each day, even to the point of ringing friends I know who make me laugh, just so I can smile.'

Arrr Christmas. The wonder of it all. I do like to watch children's eyes glaring at Santa, or concentrating fully on making sure their candle doesn't set fire to the girls' hair in front at Christingle.

On Chirstmas eve, Clare (my cousin) and her children made preparations for Santa's arrival to their house, baring gifts a plenty.

And it's not because I ate like 5 plates of Chinese food in Elements today! Not at all! And it wasnt just me.... there were others who did the same! Some even had more than 5 plates! I've had the sniffles since Christmas day.

At the bright and slowly becoming not quite so young age of 23, I am a your typical female. I hope that one day I’ll meet a good, chivalrous man, settle down, get married and have your average 2.5 kids….and yet as much as I want that, there is a part of me that is deathly afraid of it.

I’m usually quite straightforward, logical and dare I say masculine in my approach to many things. Predominantly I see it in my relationships, particularly my romantic ones. Don’t get me wrong I still love my high heeled shoes, my beautiful long ball gowns and the pleasure that comes from receiving true chivalry.
