I don't know if you have heard about this but Ken Livingstone is planning
to use tax payer's money to build an enormous mosque costing an estimated
£100M in the docklands.
Wouldn't it be better to spend the money on a new hospital or improved
transport facilities. anything but such a scheme as this:

HELLO !! TAKE YOUR PLACE AT THE BUSY BEE CAFE!!

It's an exciting place, so much to do, an endless chorus of voices asking you to sit at "my table" and try this cake or taste this drink and all within as small a time frame as possible, so you have the opportunity to quickly move to the next table. The people in this cafe are so kind, they try and better you and get you to commit some time to things, often these suggestions come without your prompting (see no need to ask, they're there to help!).

I am going to be running the Bristol half marathon on 17 Sept which is mercifully 3 THREE weeks away as I write this. It is going to be an experience and a half (note the emphasis on half, as I haven’t entered a full marathon, so how hard can it be really?). Yes it will probably hurt but I've been told that there is such an immense feeling of achievement afterwards that it outweighs any pain! Admittedly the person who told me this hadn't run a marathon before and gets a stitch running to the tube station, but I still trust his advice ;) Plus it's a good way to lose weight and gain a six pack instantly, by only doing 4 hours of work...there's a bonus!

Over the past week I have struggled with lacking the fire and passion for God that I should have. In my weakness last night, I prayed a half hearted prayer for God to rescue me (yet again!) and remind me about how good he is. He did, it's grace! I love grace!

At durham uni a rumour existed of a car being suspended over one of the bridges of Durham back in the 60's. Well fourty six years later, a picture has been found.

1) Four jobs I've had:
* Checkout operator at Co-Op - i enjoyed this as i got to try out my packing skills for ungrateful customers, who thought my packing wasn't up to the job.. i was happy to allow them to correct anything they felt needed attention.

* Runner for Tour De France at Channel 4 - i enjoyed this as i got to run

out of my my mansion

i had to be free from the sound of my brain

Is there such a thing as Mother's Day Table Rage?  Well ... up until last weekend I would have claimed no opinion. But now I have one .. and the answer is a very definite yes!

Yesterday, we arrived at a very quaint, small country pub for a peaceful mothers day lunch .. the only problem was that the tables were squashed together to get the maximum possible profit for the minimum permitted bad atmosphere. A tricky formula to achieve .. but they managed it!
