I can't believe that i've not heard about this until now, but as of 1 Jan 2007, the Brazillian city of Sao Paulo has taken down all it's billboards, bus ads, and more.  It's a move that has outraged business people, but left a large percentage of it's 11 million population free from visual polution.

These guys have developed a super cool 'machine' that uses a laser pointer and a big mother projecter to graffiti on the sides of buildings.  Seriously, watch the video (some offensive content), your head might explode with amazement!

Ok, we all know that DJ sets from good live artists normally suck in comparison, but this Saturday at Turnmills (London EC1) has so many amazing bands doing dj sets, that it might almost be worth it.
New Rave kids the Klaxons are breaking out their records, as too are electro-poppers Hot Chip, the obese-sexy Gossip and the wonderful New Young Pony Club.
Obviously it would be a much sweeter gig if they weren't dj sets, but you might get closer to the famous this way, and actually, some of the remixes i've heard from these groups are pretty damn awesome. gig info here. over.
