My Talk on Emmaus

Good afternoon folks. I have enjoyed Easter back at home in Plymouth. The weather has been "exceptional" - not my words but those of the BBC. So come to the south-west. It's official.

I have been asked to preach at church on Sunday on the Emmaus road - here is what I intend to say for general interest (probably not enough time for feedback, oops).

Errmm....this is my debut blog. Might I request a fanfare? All right then, how about a drum roll?  OK....someone beating a solitary stick against a solitary durm? No? Well, at the very least you can give a clap.

Now I will begin. I needed a bit of encouragement to psyche me up for this.
