OK, so He-Man get's his powers revealed to him when he raises his sword and says 'By the Power of GreySkull!'

Here's a question: How many times did he lift the sword and say something until he stumbled upon 'By the Power of Greyskull'? It doesn't seem obvious to me but who am I to question a classic.

the real question is how did cringer get included on that deal. If He-mans cat suddenly gets transformed does that mean that his uncle could've been transformed too?

and where did battle cat go in the new adventures of he-man, was he just on hiatus or a kennel or something?
