My Chavalier has finally died. The skip on wheels is no more! My mechanic reckons it will cost me £300 to put it back on the road and considering it only cost £150 its not really worth it so I am having to scrap it.

Just back from four days on the Norfolk Broads with a bunch of mates from home group. We left London late on Thursday night and after collecting the Bonnies in Dulwich we stopped off in Greenwich for supper at a place called The Hill, eventually arriving in Norfolk at 3.30 am.
We had a really chilled time in a village called Cley-next-the-sea. The beach was a 10 minute walk from the cottage and we swam in a very icy sea in Cley-next-the-sea - I have this thing about having my first swim of the year at Easter. Never have I been in such cold water, When I towelled myself dry I couldn't feel my skin! Cold as it was it was truly invigorating and I think that a dip in icy water is one of lifes great pleasures. read more | 2 comments | 292 reads
