About the Reeson Pastorate

Welcome to the Reeson Pastorate blog.  We are a group of people ranging from their early twenties to early thirties.  We meet fortnightly on a Tuesday at the Moravian Church on King's Road in Chelsea. Our Pastor likes Tamborines, Sandles and Cheese*.

(*That last bit may not be entirely true, but it's only bit
of untruth remotle connected to the pastorate. Honest.)

On a typical pastorate evening, we meet at 7pm and eat together.  Food is prepared by a member of our pastorate who is a very talented chef and there is always a scramble for seconds.  Later after we've all had pudding and had a catch-up, there will be some worship, a talk and some prayer.

The evening will end at a reasonable time for those who have to get up early in the morning or have far to travel.  For those who don't want to go home at a reasonable hour, there will inevitibly be a trip to the pub afterwards. On alternative Tuesdays, we meet in small groups in Fulham, West Kensington and Hammersmith.

We have been described as a "fun and welcoming" group, and there is usually some social event in the works.  We normally meet up after the 5pm service each Sunday followed by a trip to the pub or the HTB Cafe.

So if you're looking for a place to develop lasting friendships, a place to support and be supported, a place where you can learn about and love God feel free to  to join us.  To do so please contact the pastorates department at HTB.

We'd love to meet you!
oh wow, how technical are we?!
Yep, but what's most important is that we're much more technical than the Harpur Pastorate.  ;)
Yes, definately more technical than the Harpur pastorate :o)
the more you spam the hp blog, the more dynamic you make us look
Good point.  I think I'll spam my pastorate's blog instead.
mmmm, spam, recovered meat...
Recovered from what exactly?  I suddenly have visions of people snatching meat from the jaws of wild animals and putting it in tins marked "spam".
Perhaps we need a new term for junk e-mail for vegetarians.  Butternut, maybe?
Actually, butternut is really nice.  I think Sprout is probably a better alternative.
...Spot the difference.

I've made a change... can you see it?
