PatienceApril 12, 2007 - 12:06am | email this page
Recently I found myself praying for patience and then, as an after thought, asking God to give it to me quickly! This has caused me to wonder. If I pray for patience but am impatient waiting for answer to this prayer, is that wrong? Obviously I am being impatient (and is patience is a virtue I'm picking impatience is not) BUT that was the whole point of my praying for patience in the first place. I've recognised the problem and asked for help, is it really my fault if the answer is slow in coming? The Wondrous CrossApril 7, 2007 - 7:41pm | email this page

The problem is that my office is full of incredibly serious, Wisden-subscribing criket types. So I have had to lift my cricket in cricket-speak, so to speak. And since I believe in sharing, here are my top three tips for talking about cricket (or indeed any sport) and sounding like you know what you're talking about: Wonder how, wonder whyMarch 22, 2007 - 1:30am | email this page
