My new life...

Last Monday I handed in my resignation at my current job – QTC in Brisbane. It was a horrible day as my boss didn’t see it coming and she just kept saying “on no”. I got upset and it was just…horrible.
Since my Mum died, I have been looking at life and what is important and realised that I was spending too much time at work and not enough with the people I care about, plus just doing things that I wanted to do!
I turn 30 soon and am leading my life in new and exciting directions! Will work with a funky company called Red Chair PLUS have found something that I love doing, seem to have a natural ability for and can still earn some $$...you will never guess…
you're going to drive cars for a living? Relocate campervans in Oz (i did that it was great fun - although we didn't actually get paid for it so it can't be that)

ermmmmm - swim with sharks?
It MUST be something to do with cars! Otherwise, I'm completely lost for ideas...

Great that you are starting a new adventure! So exciting!
cage fighting?
I wish it was something to do with cars - like racing or being a Holden test driver or something...but no...it's life modelling for artists! Never thought I could do anything like that but I can sit still for hours and sometimes you can even doze when lying down. Also do portrait sittings and have been involved in live art installations...it's HEAPS of fun!!! Fxx
life modelling?! With or without clothes?!
Well, I've never heard of life modelling WITHOUT clothes!

That's very brave of you! When I was studying art at Uni we painted/drew many life models - male and female. One Friday night I was at a party and this girl saw me, turned bright red and exclaimed 'oh my god, you've seen me naked!!!'  It really didn't bother me. But bless her - she was so embarrassed!
Both - with and without. I was nervous at first but now it is fine. I have come across a few people I know and it's ok - you can't do a job like this if you are worried that you will bump into mates or anything. It isn't at all dodgy (I wouldn't do it if it was) - I think the artists forget you are living and you become like this mannequin or something...I love it.
HAPPY AUSTRALIA DAY, MATE!!! :)
Thanks mate!! We had a lovely day off but didn't do all that much - too hot here at the moment! Hope all the ex-pats over there did some celebrating! Miss you! Fxx
hello mate!  nice spotting - GREAT to know you are blogging!

I can't believe you don't have a photo of your nice purple ute on here!!!

Good to hear someone i know is taking a more balanced approach to life!  I am going to do that some time soon - just don't tell my boss!
