thought.

god is more concerned with who i am, not what i do...or even don't do. he is concerned with where i put my security, my faith, my hope, my identity...but nothing that i do, or don't do can ever separate me from his love. this is a reassuring thought for me...and you i hope.

so...i've finished uni...it's a bit of an anticlimax!

and i have more spare time than i know what to do with!

been so used to working all hours, that now, with nothing to do for a couple of months i feel a little lost! it's a nice feeling, to be free from work for a little while at least.

just spent the day packing my room into boxes, ready to take home this week. i'm coming back to falmouth for a week around graduation, sometime in the middle of june.

You scored as Martin Luther. The daddy of the Reformation. You are opposed to any Catholic ideas of works-salvation and see the scriptures as being primarily authoritative.

Martin Luther

i'm getting very close to finishing at uni. in fact, in about 23 days it will be over! this is a scary and exciting thought. i have pretty much completed my work already...just have to print and bind my dissertation, and then just one exam to go!

it is amazing the way that uni has changed and shaped who i am, and i feel excited, if aprehensive about moving on. i am very much looking forward to my job, which i start on 5th august!...which is actually now not that far away!

Spam Poems.

Here are 4 poems which I have written, using the randomly generated text which spammers use to get past email filters. They sometimes come up with some accidentally poetic stuff, so i've looked through, and arranged these cut-up poems from it.
And since December, Delphi doesn't write. She will only fold.
You must start yourself!

I'm home at the moment...being interviewed for a job at my home church, as a youth worker. i think it will be fun. my interviews are hilarious, and i am enjoying them. they basically involve me drinking tea and talking for about an hour to various people about various things, getting empassioned, going on tangents, and afterwards thinking "did that help them in anyway?!"

this morning....

i did not really want to get up when my alarm went off. because i had an essay to do.. but then i did get up and when i drew the curtains, there was a massive bright rainbow outside my window. the rainbow was a way of God showing his love, and his promices to Noah and all the people. and it made me think, how many people miss out on what God is doing because they have their curtains drawn? not just the ones across the windows, but the ones across our eyes, and ears, and hearts.
