i'm sorry i've been pretty darn absent of late ... things happened and i didn't really feel like i had much to say out loud, but a lot to be getting on with ye know?

i'm so out of touch with what you lovely members have been up to and joking about, especially sorry to have missed out on anyone's prayer requests!! I hope you're all hunkydory, one day I will catch up on all the stories over the last couple of months (possibly)!

So, I think things got a bit hairy a month or so after my close friend's dad died, cos then my dad seemed to be getting a bit ill too and the worst was coming to mind after what had just been happening with my mate. But, and it's a happy but, everything's turned out fine and he's on blood pressure tables for high BP, so no worries in that department anymore. phew!

And of course, I've been getting on with the new physio assistant job at the hospital. I've gotta say I'm really enjoying it :) feel so lucky to be honest, it's not easy finding a job that's just generally nice all round ... mind you, the challenging patients sometimes leave you feeling like you just wanna TEAR your hair out but then they do or say something which always tips you on your head to keep your hair there and put a big fat smile on yer face ;) I love the patients (actually that's a lie, i'm finding it very hard to like one that arrived yesterday ... but she's the first one i've ever struggled with so i guess that's pretty good stats right there). actually, i say it's nice all round but as i say that all i'm thinking of are the biscuits and chocolates on the desk .... mmmmmmmmmm, and my bowl of cheerios and yoghurt waiting for me in the morning, and the many cups of tea going round.


ummmm, anyway. yes. it's summer!!!! hooooooooooooooooray!!!! i'm LOVING this warm spell :-D

oh, and i went on holiday for a week to barcelona last month with a couple of buddies. that was hilarious, i may post a couple of pics if i get a chance later. or may be just a pic of the paella i made ... :-D (still chuffed by this incredible feat!)

also gonna try KITE SURFING for the first time in august with my sister and some friends down in Poole! wooooohoooo! that is gonna be very cool.


aaaaand, finally had a job interview last Sunday for a physio assistant position in Qatar which'd be in orthopaedics aswell so very similar to what I'm doing now. i find out in two weeks hopefully!!!!!!! for this i would love any spare prayers doing ... that whatever happens Jesus is in charge of it all and that i keep searching for freedom in Him :o)

yea, freedom feels like a big thing i need to think about at the mo. i feel trapped quite often. thankfully, i'm on holiday next week so gonna find the space to think at last ... that will be lush!
