Celtic Prayer Meeting

An experience of the love of God through the singing of beautiful chants, listening to the Word of God and silence. Followed by an Agape meal.
Jesus Christ the Fullness of Life (JCFL) ) takes place at 7:30pm on the first Thursday of the month (July 3rd) at St. Andrew's Holborn.
It would be lovely if you can come along to the prayerful event below, especially if you are a Celt or just love Celtic music and prayer. Louise and I both sing in the choir and she also plays the Irish drum - the bodhran. Sarah came once and treated us all to her beautiful Jewish singing as well as teaching us the songs! This month will be all Irish hymns and chants. It will be a chance for you to hear and learn an original modern Irish Gaelic chant ( my own ) ; its very simple and as with chants is short and repeated. also in Gaelic, St Patrick's breast plate and there'll be a 9th century monastic Gaelic prayer. A harpist Peter Murphy who has played for Queen Anne-Marie of Greece as well as the wonderful regular musicians playing guitar, grand piano, flute, cello, violin. All the other hymns\ songs are Celtic but in English so everyone can sing. This is followed by an agape meal. Please pray for all of us singers and musicians and all involved in setting up and the food. Do come and join the prayer and bring friends! This Irish proverb below is a good reminder that the Lord is always at work!Meallan muilte Dé go mall ach meallan siad go mion.
God's mill may grind slowly, but it grinds finely.
