This year's Alpha Viral Competition is over and the winner, which was exclusively voted for by aboutlife.com members, has been revealed...
The Factory was the worthy victor, an entry by Alistair Duckworth, a 23 year old graphic designer from Streatham, S.London.

A few months ago Alpha launched the Alpha Viral Competition with some prize money donated specifially for that purpose by a generous benefactor.

Principal of the new St Pauls Theological Centre, HTB staff member and 'Godpod' creator Rev Dr Graham Tomlin has published a new book, Spiritual Fitness: Christian Character in a Consumer Culture which was launched at HTB's bookshop last Sunday.
'The Prof.' has been kind enough to give us permission to serialise his book in the form of three facinating excerpts, and so without further ado, here is the first one! Enjoy, I know I will.

GodPod is a regular download (soon to be podcast) produced by St Paul's Theological Centre at Holy Trinity Brompton. The tutors at SPTC, Dr Graham Tomlin and Dr Mike Lloyd (both recently from Oxford University) and Jane Williams, prominent theologian and wife of a certain Archbishop, get together once a fortnight to discuss burning issues of theology and life, over an endless supply of coffee and biscuits. Occasionally unwitting guests are inveigled in to share the conversation. A regular feature is also 'weird religious stuff' where they unearth some of the strange things that religion sometimes makes people do.
