MOVING BLOGS

Well it's official. AboutLife and me are breaking up.

I wish I could say it was me and not her, but honestly, It's them. They won't seem to let me write new posts from any computer but this one.

So head on over to http://mattcrossman.wordpress.com for now . . . new website to come.

Exams .. . .

I can't seem to 'blog

I am writing a pice on weddings.

I shouldn't be.

I am revising really.

See you in October.

Advantageous Alopecia

Advantageous AlopeciaOr beneficial baldness. It is now about a year since my genetic make-up exerted its forces toward my follicles and deprived me of ever having to have a haircut again. Mine, specifically is an example of androgenic alopecia, exhibiting lateral and vertex patterns; in simple terms, I have a thinning spot and a receding hairline.

It was meant to get my heckles up and it did

respecting other poeple's opinions is one thing; respecting ignorant rants designed to irk the faith community is quite another.

single handed blogging

i gouged a good chunk out of my pinky on a wine glass. this was the first wine glass fatality in Nevil Road for 9 weeks - a bit of a record for us.

I'm sorry for not writing so much but priorities are different . . . plus some internet connections I use don't allow me to login to aboutlife at the moment.

Tempus Fugit . . .

. . . when you spend a week in mud and rain and get a bit ill, then are mad busy with responsible investing. So sit down, grad a glass of single malt and I tell you what's been going on.

It's been a very odd few weeks in truth - I felt some real breakthroughs while we were working the elemental tent at Glastonbury. For starters I prayed with two strangers for healing and one of them received healing for some back pain. God was doing a lot of that actually - healing back pains. Ruth Lorennson prayed for this one girl who suddenly felt the heat of the spirit on her back and shouted out "what was THAT?"  . . . !

Charles Finney

There was no fire and no light in the room, but it appeared to me as if it was perfectly light. As I went in and shut the door, it seemed like I met the Lord Jesus Christ face to face. It seemed to me that I saw Him as I would see any other man. He said nothing, but looked at me in a way that broke me right down at his feet. I poured out my soul to Him. I wept aloud like a child, and made whatever confessions I could. It seemed to me that I bathed His feet with my tears; and yet I had no distinct impression that I touched Him.

Striving

StrivingIt really would be a tragedy if my experience of God stayed at the same level for the rest of my life. The Bible talks of a race to be run, implying goals to be achieved, a prize to strive for and stages to be reached along the way.

I was having an amazing chat with a great mate on the downs on Saturday who now lives tragically far away - but at least he’s moved to Manchester which allows me to have an excuse to visit the promised land once in a while.

We win! (for once)

One-nil ethical investment!

Skills or lies?

Since this has created a huge controversy on facebook, with many doubters, I blog this picture of my parking skills for you to decide whether it is the truth or falsehood.

Note: The cars were there; this was not parked and then blocked in.
