No more help for Zimbabwe from outside

My parents, still living in Zimbabwe are struggling to survive, like everyone else!  In the last few weeks, the madness of the regime has got extensively worse.  The government are now enforcing price controls that are ridiculous as they force shopkeepers to sell goods way below cost price, thus forcing them out of business!  So shops are going bankrupt all over the country, and if they try to flout the new laws, they are ransacked and then arrested and beaten up. So as a result shops are now absolutely empty!  No food or goods at all!

Living in the UK, I have been able to buy petrol coupons online thus enabling my parents to get access to petrol.  Yesterday, that all changed!  The Zimbabwean government have banned the sale of coupons and have given the holders of any outstanding coupons 2 weeks to redeem them, after which time the penalties will be severe!  Coupons have stopped being sold on the websites.

Zimbabwe is descending into chaos at an increasingly rapid rate. I keep thinking 'it can't get any worse than this', but then it does. I keep pleading with my parents to leave.  They are at least now considering the idea, but I fear it may be too late.  Even if I do manage to get aeroplane tickets for them, they will have no petrol to get them to the airport!  Only God can help a nation in dire despair that is literally being torn appart by those who are supposed to be leading.

Please pray!!!!!
