Well, I've just been away for a refreshing week with some friends.  We stayed on the coast, near Minehead and had a great time.  I was able to unwind and relax as well as continue writing some of my novel on the rainier days.

I've also enjoyed re-connecting and catching up with many friends from uni and high school on facebook whom I had lost contact with!  Its amazing how life has moved on - people getting married, kids on the way etc.  Its great to be back in touch.

Having been away for a week, I had a mountain of work waiting for me when I got back - its all church stuff and website updates and demo recordings, not my real day-job at all!  Anyway, it's all good fun.  As a result my website is due for a massive update in a couple of days time with new songs and chord charts for you to use and enjoy so check it out www.mattmcchlery.com. My, I have been a busy boy!

I've also been getting a few more gig possibilities opening up in various places, as well as preparing for the gig in Bedford UK, on te 19th August (more details on the website). Thanks to those who are eager to help out and arrange things.  It is always most appreciated.  More gig dates are still welcome! (hint hint)
