was a massive last week. had a fantastic time at the special gig and then went off to do some filming for a video for "someone sometimes". we were out till 2am filming and then spent the rest fo the week filming and cutting video for a work project. it was a really exhausting week but also the best fun i've had in ages. anyways - you can check out the "someone sometimes" video below. hope you like it.

i went along to the 11am service at st pauls this morning. humble apologies to those disturbed by ruby's dora explorer backpack which accidentally started singing the theme song to dora during a particularly quiet time in the worship. got a few killer death stares - hey, dora loves to worship too!

in other news i have a gig on sunday 23rd sep at jriink bar in soho. a few folks are coming along including our buddies from oz and should be a blast. haven't played in london for a while and have new tunes to roll out too. exciting.

we've just been away at new wine down in shepton mallet. i was playing tunes every night at their after hours venue. absolutely brilliant week all round. first of all the sun was shining and i even got a tan. secondly i killed three mice. they were running underneath the tent and i punched their heads in. thirdly we had a great time chilling as a family - one particularly hot day we all found a tree and slept on a blanket for three hours. fourthly i met some fantastic folks and enjoyed some great music (doug walker is brilliant - great tunes, big voice and a top bloke, cathy burton was great too, was also fantastic to do some playing and hanging out with sir charlie groves). fifthly i really got a lot out of the worship and messages in venue 2 - the trent vineyard band were great and david ruis was brilliant. i love a speaker who has a bit of attention deficit disorder and a lot of heart. and lastly i really enjoyed playing - probably my most enjoyable playing experience - the venue was kind of noisy but i kinda love that - there's a level of chaos and when you can break that with moments of fun or intensity and make a connection its really gratifying. great week. thanks lord - i needed that.
