I suppose being my first blog I should put up some things that people don't really know about me. I am 25 (26 in sept) I live in a flat in Richmond with 2 old school mates. I attend HTB, but have only been there for about 6 months. I joined HTB through the alpha group. When I first moved to Richmond I attended Hillsong, although I have some close friends at Hillsong, it wasn't the church for me. I have been a Christain for only about 2 years. I was 'brought up' christian, but my family were only christmas christains. However in the last 6 months both my mother and father have come to faith. It was all through the alpha course (thanks Nicky). After I had attended 2 courses my mother decided to do a course, it was amazing to see the change in her. About 6 months later my father came to faith also through attending a course. It is amazing see how different they are and how enriched they are, it has brought the family closer. I have a beautiful sister, who is the most important person to me in the whole world. She is my best friend and I don;t know what I would do without her, I am truely blessed to have her.I work in advertising as an Art Director, which pretty much means I colour-in all day.2 years ago I went to Ghana for 3 months to volunteer, this was one of the most life changing experiences I have had. While I was away I experienced some really Godly things, but i will save that for another blog.I love to dance. I used to do alot of break dancing, my sister was a ballet dancer for years, so shows and competitions were in my up bringing. I was part of a crew in watford for a couple of years, we used to train every monday thursday and sat. I now have moved on to just watching and training in my flat occasionally, as I felt it was never really going to be something I did long term, and I bust my ankle up pretty bad. I work with a group of Christian dancers called Sacred (www.myspace.com/sacreddc). This will be my next blog. They are all professional dancers, and it is amazing watching them train.I also DJ. I have been djin for about 8 years. Back in the day I used to be a garage head. I was really into my deep dark nasty breaks. This then moved into Hip-hop, I tried my hand at a bit of scratchin and beat jugglin, but it never really took off. I now pretty much play what I like. I would say that my style is funk,hip-hop, soul orientated. I will play everything from Jaheim through to Brazillian D&B. My last gig was at a bar in clapham called Lost society. We will be doing another set soon.....I have recently joined Phils pastorate, and I really feel at home. HTB is going to be where I base my growth and the people I intend to do life with.My nick names: K-Dogg, SLY, Kings
