the end is nigh.

This country has officially cracked.  Yes, The Young and the Restless is on primetime evening television.  Lord save us...
Seriously?! Oh, that is bad news. I think I recall something in the bible that when daytime soap operas make it to primetime evening slots, that was a sure sign of the end of the world. The fifth horseman of the apocalypse? Pestilence, War, Famine, Death, Soap Operas?
Really?!?!? Over here, Channel 9 has let it go after 30+ years of showing it after Days of our Lives - now people have to subscribe to Foxtel/Austar if they really want to see their dose of Young every day....but I guess most people have pay tele - I wonder what the stats are on this - anyone know?
It gets worse.  It is on EVERY week night from 7 - 9pm.  I am not kidding!  This is one of only two English channels with programmes instead of only movies...  It is just bizarre.
forgive my ignorance love, but what's the Young and the Restless? i'm not in to that one . . . xx
oh sarah, to be you and in the dark about YOTR.  Really....  It is an american soap that has been running for 30 years.  You know, a daytime one - much the same as Days of Our Lives, if you know that one.  When I was a kid at home sick, it was all there was on TV, which made one feel even more nauseating.  The amusing thing to me is that many of the same actors are on it now as when I was 10 years old!  Really, best missed out on...xxx
Bold and the Beautiful beats them all...
Kat! Hi! I guess you're going to have to extend your trip in March because I won't be there until early on the 24th. It's too bad we'll miss seeing each other by a week! How are you? :-)
Hey Kat! You're in HK? Great!

Can i ask a slightly odd question? Are you staying with Al French? There is a story here, but it'll only be "wow the world is small!" if you are!!!

Would love to meet up, will send you my mobile number :)
