Your Father Knows Whats Best!

Last night my housemate and I decided to do a bit of a reading, prayer and daily devotional type thing. So when asking her if there was something specific she wanted to look up she told me there was too much stuff to categorise into one topic, so I winged it, turned to a page and read. Within the first 4 lines we were both in tears.. Somehow this verse we had chosen seemed to speak so directly to us both, and key into exactly what both of us seem to be going through... (although vastly different problems)! By the end we wept with each other and prayed for each other and thanked God of His magnitude that he can help us even in the small situations that trivial against all other things.

My friend Ryan makes Christian T's... I love them, and ashamedly I only have one... I cant afford more:( maybe with a little less travelling I can bump up my collection. He recently asked me to send this around.

Patience

I'm not the worlds most patient person and I'm not stupid or cheeky enogh to pretend I am. In fact I am one of those rude people that sigh loudly at those few who stop on the left of esculators.

But one area of my life that iI would like to say I was patient in would be with friends... especially close friends. I would put them in the same catagory as a husband (although clearly I am not married as I am very sure wives loose their patience ALL the time) But I would like to think that through thick and thin, no matter what I would be the Patient Loving and loyal supporting friend...

Sam's Town

Sam's TownSam's TownSam's TownI had the nicest surprise on Saturday. After deciding on friday after a rather hectic and increadibly emotional week, that i would have a nice chilled weekend fulled with nothing but relaxing Julie "Down Time", my rubber arm was twisted in about 0.5 seconds to go to the Killers concert. After joking around with my housemate that i might have to mug her for her tickets she popped into my room to see if I wanted to take 2 extra tickets that miraculously turned up?? So afetr about 10 minutes of screaming, jumping up and down and screaming more, then much hugging and maybe a small tear I said YES!!!

Just to keep things a little bit Fun!!!

PHB Disorder

I  wonder if there is such a thing as Post-Holiday-Blues... if not they should definitely formalise it.. they can call it PHB disorder.. and when you come back from holiday and are feeling a bit like you "still have sand in your shoes"... to quote Dido, you can say no i'm not sick I just have PHB... I'll be fine in a couple days once I have some photos developed!

So i'm back from my holiday - Seriously the best time I have ever had... and trying to process why I feel so flipping sad! I'm so seriously down.. which is so weird considering I have spent 24 days touring Europe with the most incredible and amazing people. I saw so much, had so much fun, and got together with such an amazing guy who managed to surprise me almost every day!!!

How can anyone doubt Him???

Last week I was in switzerland thinking myself the luckiest person alive to be so lucky as to be staying in a hotel 7000ft in the air (well not in the air ..) I was in awe when i got off the Gondolla... God had blown me away! Words cannot describe the love I felt standing there, tears streaming down my face, wondering how anything in the world could be better than what i was looking out at. How could anything beat that! Yet it did... because as I sat there quietly freezing myself into a small coma, I realised that for me this was God Romancing me, loving me, showing me His glory!

Little eathquakes

Quote of the Day... pretty much says it all!!!

"We turn to God when our foundations are shaking only to learn that it is God who is shaking them."

Dah Dee Day

Today is a Dah Dee Day! Indeed I have great reason to be junping with joy. In almost 12 hours I will see my gorgeous sister who I have missed more that anything in this world. We will be spending the next 3 weeks tourng the most beautifull cities in Europe together joined by 2 of my best friends from home – and To make matters golden, my dad is in London for business so I get to see him for the day before I leave!

Bright Spark move of the Day

So Rule No 1. Never buy a cheap bag for travelling - Rule of thumb... IT WILL ALWAYS BREAK!!!
In my lucky case it broke 5 minutes out the door.

Bright spark move... loosing your receipt so that said crappy bag cannot be replaced. Oh how I really dislike it when the evil corporate giants win...
