New Song - What a Maker! What a Saviour!

Here's another song I've been working on recently...
Been a busy few weeks so haven't been able to record anything but finally had a chance to put something together this evening and here it is.

Had a chance to put over a couple of extra guitar tracks at the end, possibly a bit excessively but I'm not sure.

The song is a comparison and a reminder of God being both our Creator and our Redeemer, and the words try to move through a journey of seeing God's breathe constructing the Earth, through to Christ on the Earth, Christ on the cross and finally Jesus as the King of Kings.

Words are:

Gloriously, when You breathed the world was made.
And all I can see - it brings your praise.
'Cos I believe...

Humblely, You came down, became a man.
Submit and save the masterplan.
'Cos I believer - "the truth will set you free!"

When You breathed the world was made,
What a Maker!
When You took the cross You paid,
What a Saviour!

Wondrously, on the cross our lives were changed.
You shed your blood, but rose again!
'Cos I believe...

From far away I can see the King of Kings,
You're all I need above all things.
'Cos I believer - "the truth will set you free!"

When You breathed...

What a Maker! What a Saviour!
Lord Your love changed everything.

What a Maker! What a Saviour!
Lord Your word changed everything.

What a Maker! What a Saviour!
Lord Your death changed everything.

What a Maker! What a Saviour!
Every day change everything.

Thanks for your email, very interesting setup.

My setup for the recordings I have posted on aboutlife has been to play guitar and sing into an Audio-Technica AT4040 mic, into a Tascam US-122 USB DI box and then into my PC, using either the free tascam version of cubase or FL Studio to record.  In some cases I have double tracked guitars a bit.  Then I have used FL Studio to up the volume a bit (with its multiband compressor plugin) and to convert to mp3.

The Audio-Technica mic is no better than an SM58 for vocals but for acoustic guitar it is far better.
thanks for the encouragement, jai, it feels so good to have an outlet for them, thank you AL..

Great songs on your blog, maybe we should have a competition: first one to a hundred wins!!!
