New Song - Lay My Burdens Down

I've recorded an acoustic version of a new worship song. "Lay My Burdens Down" is a simple song, which I have used a number of times in worship sets.

Words are:

By Your grace, I am free,
To run this race, but not for me.
All I have, and all I see,
Will be Yours, eternally.

So I'll lay my burdens down,
I'll lay my burdens down,
Beneath the cross where I find You,
Again and again,
I'll lay my burdens down.

Lord may all temptations flee,
They hold no power over me.
'Cos I was blind, but now I see,
Thanks to the blood at Calvary.

So I'll lay...

Lord of all, One true King,
Before Your throne we'll bow and sing,
And the best of all, we've still yet to see
You highly enthroned - Majesty,
Your Majesty!

So I'll lay...

I like! No theological rebuke from me....! Its kind of familiar... not in a 'ripped off' way...in a nice, comforting way.' Err...dunno if that makes sense.

I just put one of my songs up on my post...check it out.
you can try and comment on it theologically...but you might find it a bit difficult. ;o)
Ok, now we're talking.

That is a moving song and there is an honesty in those vocals that is quite arresting.

Well done dude, I would really like to hear more of your stuff.

Some words would be good!
Definitely a Finn brothers thing going on there!

Thanks for the words.  I will be giving this a test drive tonight!
I really liked it.
This one kicks!
