APCM - 24 April Once a year the church gets together to look at the past year and the year ahead and elect the PCC and church wardens. We’d love to see you there! We'll start with drinks and light canapés at 6.30pm (meeting starts at 7pm) and should be finished by 8.30pm.
Focus Places at Focus are going very quickly indeed, so if you'd like to come we recommend you get your form in as soon as possible! Check out the blog
www.aboutlife.com/home_focus for more information, or speak to your pastor. We'd hate you to miss out!
CREATIVE WORSHIP NIGHT On Monday April 16th at 7:30pm the Creativity & Arts Dept (along with the Worship Dept) will be hosting a CREATIVE WORSHIP NIGHT. The idea is to provide an open (low-lit!) space for people to express their worship to God freely and creatively. There will be no set agenda, just an opportunity to worship. … Please do just turn up!
HTB Alpha If you like meeting people and have a passion for the Alpha course we would love your help! We need Welcomers and Runners to help with registration for the Summer term on Wednesday 2nd and Wednesday 9th May. Please contact the HTB Alpha office at

SPARE BED OR HALF AN HOUR? - WE NEED YOU! We are expecting more than 700 Alpha leaders from over 50 countries to join us when HTB hosts Alpha International Week from Monday 21 to Friday 25 May - which is now only 7 weeks away! Being involved with Alpha anywhere around the world requires time, commitment and dedication - and we hope that International Week will be an opportunity for our guests to be refreshed and ministered to by our church. Our theme for this year’s event is "from vision to action" and we would love to show God’s love in action to our guests, by having every member of HTB involved in some way! Many of our international guests are unable to afford accommodation in London, as it is one of the most expensive cities in the world, so it is such a help if you can let a guest stay in your spare room or even on a mattress in your lounge room during the week. If you, or someone you know, are able to host or would just like to find out more, please contact Jasmin on
accommodation@alpha.org, 020 7052 0443 or fill out our online hosting form at

Whether you can just help for half an hour one morning, or after work one night - we'd love to hear from you so please contact Wendy on

Blow The Whistle! In his Vision talk on Sunday 4 March, Nicky announced our commitment to Micah Challenge. Micah Challenge is a coalition of Christian organisations and churches, uniting Christians to follow God’s call to defend the rights of the poor; Nicky is on the Council of Reference. Despite the gains made by Make Poverty History in 2005, today more than a billion people remain trapped in a state of absolute poverty. Blow the Whistle is the first in a series of campaigns by Micah Challenge, that will focus Christians and the UK Government on the promises we made, in 2000, to the world’s poorest people to halve poverty by 2015. 2007 marks the halfway point to 2015. Please check out the website
http://www.micahchallenge.org.uk/btw/ to see how you can get involved. Look out for Blow the Whistle postcards (to send to the Prime Minister) and whistles in the bookshop. Also, please put 2 June in your diary and consider joining the central London rally on that day. Don’t hesitate to contact the Social Transformation department for more information: social.transformation@htb.org.uk; 020 7052 0336.
