Prayer Weekend Chichester - Awesome

The prayer weekend was just amazing. I felt like I saw HTB's heart. This was not an Alpha weekend...it was so much more intense and real. I'm rarely lost for words but here I am. God was there. The Holy Spirit moved, we prayed and prayed and it was not a chore. There was an intimacy with God and one another that I've not experienced before and I've been a Christian for fourteen years. The presence of Jesus House was brilliant. It was all good. I saw all the layers of work and prayer that go on behind the scenes at Holy Trinity Brompton and I'm so glad to be part of this place. There is something so genuine about praying at 2am with someone you've just met and I'm sure we touched heaven and changed the course of the future. I've never been sure of that before. Thanks to everyone that was part of it and for the team who made it happen.
Yup.  It was a good w/e:  Great prayer, great worship, great time with God, nice crowd too.

In those moments when I am tempted to stop praying, because 'God already knows what we need,' I remember all the times in the gospels when Jesus prays.  He is the Son of God - and yet he prays - sometimes all night!  He clearly had the power to work miracles, and yet Jesus prays to God.

If it's good enough for him, it's good enough for me!

Word,

Margin.
amen, a happy amen.
