About Me:
I am a complex, but becoming ever more simple person.  I come from a family of ten children, and grew up between a little town in Scotland called Kirkintilloch and the United States.  I grew up largely in Portland, Oregon.  People describe me sometimes as 'mid Atlantic', or my accent at least.  I trained as a chef when I left Central Catholic High School in Portland, and drifted into Music.  I did all those excesses until the wheels fell off in the early nineties.  I returned to the UK and embarked on my studies at the University of Bristol, reading for a joint hons BSc in psychology and sociology. I graduated from Bristol in 2000 and went onto do an MSc in research methods in experimental psychology.  This was interupted by the sudden diagnosis of my mother with metastasized cancer and her sudden death. Since that time, and a radicla re-evaluation of my life, I moved to London, and have become involved in music again, in a much different way.  This is really where my passion lies, and I am playing again, recording, writing as well as establishing an events company. I am also a dad of two wee boys, James and William. I Love Christian spirituality, and in fact, I love Our Lord more than I love anything else.  I think Jesus was simply the Best.  I have went through Alpha twice, once as a helper, and I am helping on the next one, with Jon March on the Wednesday morning. So do come and say hi.  God seemed to have planted me in HTB, but I don't really know too many people...
