Work!

My goodness! In my last entry, I wrote about being a lazy man and the need to pick up my act. I can gladly say that things have been totally different since that last entry!

I got stuck into my work and finished off a few things, or brought them to the point where I then had to rely on other people to supply the information. I also found out that two of my potential clients have pulled out so 7 weeks worth of work disappeared. It was then that I knew full well that I would be relying on God to bring work my way.

When it looked like I only had a few days worth of work left before being left in the lerch, my best mate (Matt) up here rang me to let me know that our local Betta Electrical superstore (with a furniture department) was closing down and they needed an extra hand for "a day or two" to move furniture. I started on Tuesday morning, worked through the week till midday Saturday, and I'm to go back next week.

God is so good! I determined to do the work He set out for me, and even when it fell through, He has provided generously in a way I did not see coming. I am being payed more through this temporary job than what I would have hoped to make through my own clients' work.
