Moving on

Well, Thursday was my official last day at Flight Centre. I thought I was going back this coming Tuesday for an extra day to help out but found out yesterday that they've got someone to replace me now, so that's good.

Why am I leaving Flight Centre? Well, I was offered a position with another advertising agency, a lot closer to home, and as a manager for a new branch where I would be my own boss, building up my own client base, and doing a lot more creative stuff. I also asked Flight Centre what they thought of me leaving before I did leave, and they advised me that I should go for this new position because it sounded much better than what they had to offer :)

So, God is good, and my plans for the next couple of years have totally changed. Instead of spending them at Flight Centre, I'll be working in a position which is very similar to how I envisaged things a year and a half ago. And despite the fact that I won't be receiving any real travel discounts, I did manage to sneak in a return ticket to go see Jen in July just before I left, and I'll be saving $2000AUD every year just in public transport which I'll be able to spend on travel anyway :)

For anyone who'd like to see who I'm working for now, go to Runtime Design. I'll be working on this site over the next few months as well to give it a facelift :)
Eeehehehehehehe :) I'm so excited!

Hey, you've never shown me the Runtime website before! It's interesting... Is that the real studio or is it a nice stockphoto?
Hehe, it's definitely an iStock photo, but 'shhhhh'. Don't tell anyone
Loungey loungey lounge... how are things going at Runtime? :)
They'rrrrrrrrre....... ok... We'll see how things go..... I don't think things will work out how I'd hoped...
I hope you're enjoying camp :) I miss you
I miss you too.. camp was good. I'm sunburnt though :s It was nice to go down to the beach whenever we wanted, to swim or play in the sand, or to go shopping, and play lots of card games etc. You can come next time.
