What to write, what to write, what to write...

It's been a while since I put finger to keyboard to blog. As a simple excuse I'm going to blame sport with the European Championships, Wimbledon and ultimate taking up much of my free time. It has but I probably could have blogged in that time.

In terms of interest, there hasn't been a great deal happening. 2 weeks ago I went on a stag weekend up in the Peak District. On the Saturday we did loads of mountain biking and then did a touch of skiing in Sheffield on the Sunday. It was a lot of fun and I got the chance to catch up with friends from HTB that I hadn't seen in quite a while.

Then, last weekend, I went up to Inverness via Glasgow for an old friend's wedding. My friend, William, is from Belfast and went to the same church as me. He's a great guy and the day seemed to go really well. For me the nest bit of the day was seeing yet more old friends, this time from back home. The best way to describe them is to call them Peter as nearly all of them are called Peter. It was a fun night.

It was also good to see my brother and sister that weekend. My brother typically left on Saturday to make sure that he made it to ultimate practice in Dublin on Sunday, but my sister and I stayed on until Sunday afternoon. Naomi, my sister, spent a year in Inverness as part of her medical training and so we stayed at a friends' house (it was brilliant!) and went her church and got fed etc. It was great. All in all it was a lovely weekend though my phone is currently still on vacation at the airport (though it's probably made it's way to the trash.

That'll do for now. It's less than 4 weeks until I'll be in Canada and then the US. Can't wait for the change and break from the routine.

Love to all
Whose was the stag? Anyone I know?

Any idea yet what your Canada/US schedule looks like? Cx

Re: schedule, this is my brother we are talking about. At present we'll both be in the country at the same time.
