Ok, its back to school.... new year, new lessons, new table layout and do the children like it? Yes! They've reacted really well! But do the teachers who also use it sometimes like it? Um... no........ so I'm going through a bit of a dilema. Keep the tables as they are to make all my lessons go amazingly well! (Believe me, they do more than they did last year!).... or move the tables back to how they were to keep other teachers happy?
Thing is, it's MY music room. And it's so nice to teach in there now, in fact really enjoyable! I never realised that moving tables around would get so complicated! I mean, if they decide to move my tables around during the lessons they have in there (only 2 a week - I have 20!) then fine... but then it causes complications, lessons end late and I end up having to move them back to their original form! Plus I get quite possesive over how things are in my room..... especially if I have to pick up the pieces in the end!
And then I think.... What Would Jesus Do? And then I realise - He wouldn't be fussing about with tables... Noone would care where they sat or stood. And that just frustrates me even more! Grrr!
