I don’t know if you’ve seen the posters on the tube at the moment, they are selling a book. I don’t know what book, I don’t really care. I just am so grateful for being surrounded by the message that "Courage is an everyday thing".
When life is pretty shocking and just getting out of bed involves a huge mental battle then it’s good to know that all God is asking us to do is take one little step and face the day. If we can have a little courage everyday to fight our little battles then maybe we will find those battles over weeks and months become a campaign that is winning a war. But we don’t need to think about that as we blearily start each day, we just need to ask “God what do you want me to do today?” “Please give me courage”

I see the battles that the church is facing on a daily basis, I see the criticism of our Bishops in the media, I see friends who are bullied at work, I see a wife supporting her husband through cancer, I see a buddy who’s legs don’t work trying to walk. They are all facing daily battles, so I’m glad that there are posters up to remind us all that courage is an everyday thing and that God is there every step of the way.
The picture above says "Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgement that something else is more important than fear"
For me that is the life that God has called me to.
Philippians 4:13
I can do everything through him who gives me strength.
