A friend of mine recently shared how God had literally performed a miracle in her workplace. She works for an agency providing Care Centres. One of these was due for closure for various reasons, causing huge distress all round. After loads of prayers, and just before the crisis meeting, God turned up!

A couple of workmen on the roof of a neighbouring building asked what they were there for. The men then popped in for a cuppa and suggested they try the landlord of the building they were working on, which was vacant and just metres from the old premises. Within a day, the landlord offered the building as a new centre, at a reduced rate!!

My (Christian) friend became something of a hero (or a villain, to those who don't "believe" in miracles!). But God was clearly at the centre of many a discussion.

What an amazing God we serve! Do others have any stories of miracles in the workplace to share? Do we pray for our colleagues, friends or work situations with the faith and expectation that God CAN (and does) perform miracles (supernatural answers, healings, words of knowledge, etc..!?). May we see even more of His Kingdom breaking into our places of work...
