Look who's 3!!!

Ooo,

Looking in my diary I realised that 3 years ago today I gave my life to Christ.

I'd sort of done it in a fuzzy way some weeks before during a 10K run (I'd just come back from holiday, hadn't really trained, and on kilometre 7 made a deal with God that if He helped me make it through the run without some sort of horrible death related incident, then I'd consider believing in Him).

So, I was sitting doing a bit of thinking and came up with a question.

"Would we be able to sin in heaven?"

Right, before you blast me for asking such as stupid question, I'll lay out a little of thought behind it.

  1. Adam and Eve where in a Sin free, direct relationship with God. Pretty much as I imagine it would be for us in a New Heaven / New Earth situation, yet they still sinned.
  2. Adam and Eve had free will, so they were capable of choosing to sin.
  3. We will continue to have free will (or at least I have presumed so)
So, would we be capable of sinning in heaven, would we / could we cause "The Fall 2: This time God really gets mad".

That's it, don't come any closer ... you can't stop me, I'm going to do it!

Arrrrgh!

So, perhaps a little over dramatic. But I'm currently sitting in a coffee shop about to see a man about a mortgage. After years of ruminating and false starts I'm finally going to do it ... I think that I'm crazy O_o

Both Little & Big Bear are trying to convince me to move to tollington park ...

So I recently returned from a week long theological course in Cambridge run by Christian Heritage as their CSST. It was actually brilliant ... though very stretching. It was recommended to me by Chris, who I heartily thank for inviting me.

I never really thought that I would see the day where I complemented a French car advert ... ask me one day about a small incident involving my first ever car (a Peugeot 309), Bodmin Moor and a few too many flames for making a nice relaxing cuppa ...
