Life in God's melting pot…

Life in God's melting pot…The first thing I realised as I started college (again!) was that two years is not very long.  I had just about got my head around being here, climbed aboard the academic express train, made a few friends and generally got into the rhythm of life here when I was having to fill out curacy forms, produce a CV and received my penultimate year report!  A month from now I will be half way through my training and will have said goodbye to the leavers, about to be ordained, and knowing this time next year it will be me. Phew!  So – how is it going and how is it all preparing me for ministry?

Monday morning - Christians at work

Just in from a hectic Sunday, had a conversation over lunch with a member of our church - a business man under pressure. He was commenting on how little we (the church/our church) address the issues facing many in secular work beyond it being a place for personal evangelism. What does it mean to work for the Kingdom in your place of employment - not just winning others for Christ but in every sense?
