the word, the thought that never ceasesFebruary 8, 2008 - 12:03pm | email this page
![]() sitting in the sun listening to www.rivertribe.com (my favourite world music fusion band) ... I had an epiphany of sorts ... ... as a writer, words signify and fill my daily rituals; the fetuses of words run through my mind, scampering and hiding ... words are important to society, giving permanence to what would otherwise be fleeting thoughts, evidence that we existed on this earth, if only for brief moments, feeding our longing for an immortality that stretches beyond our limited existence ... and thus it dawned on me, thats why he's the word ... intrinsically he is the thought that stretches on forever ... its about coming to an existance with us, for we are so limited that our focus could never stretch that long, hence the word lingers to remind us poor feeble forgetful creatures ... these synaptic fusions filled me with sudden elation as I clutched my word to my heart and spilled thanks in the sunlight. Thank you for this realisation of an even deeper connection , that you are closer to us now than ever before, thank you for the word Coral Plumtree's blog | report this page | 581 reads
