>>My impassioned thoughts <<

It correlates with so many things I've wondered about Christianity's approach to their treatment of sexuality, dating and the global phenomenon of single women

a good quote from the film  "when you control a person's sexuality you control the masses" ...

other things that I've thought about were also reflected in the doco ... while watching services where ministers try to induce the participants into states of ecstasy otherwise called "speaking in tongues" where groups of people roll around on the ground shaking ... it occurred to me, that this was just their version of a group orgy .. a redirection of their sex drive ... perhaps somewhere some church elders believe that this is the way to manage the growing number of non-sexually active adults ...

also, while watching the doco interview with an ex-priest talking about the sadness of being booted out by the Catholic church, bec. he fell in love ... it made me think of the pressure on Christian females to matyr themselves and remain "virginal nuns", with church elders barking down at them warning against dating "non-christians" ... this is basically just a protestant version of the Catholic priesthood/nun syndrome ...

I think, practically speaking ... girls need to realise the facts : there is a shortage of males in churchs  4 women to every 1 man, half of that 1 man will be married, .25 of that man has already been dating or engaged, .15 is mostly unsuitable bec. they tend to be recluses who hide in churches, leaving only .1 of a percent of a man for 4 women to fight over ... so PRACTICALLY speaking, girls ... carry on with life ... god gave you a sex drive ... go out and date any kind of good and decent guy   :)

watch the doco - its well worth a look ... after all, biologically our bodies were built to function for survival and reproduction ... and to supress yourself, is contrary to your biological purpose ... mantain the sanctity of your own communion with God but don't let the mandate of aloof church elders control your own sexuality and relationships ...

What are you trying to say?....

"god gave you a sex drive ... go out and date any kind of good and decent guy" - what are you advocating here?

:(
hmm I'm saying that Christian girls should open up to considering good decent guys who aren't Christians but who are open to the girls continuing their faiths   ...  its practical, and the clever girls are doing this anyway ... so its just a wake up call to the rest of the girls ...otherwise the church will face a crisis spinning out of control, from all the frustrated single women hogging up their aisles.  Things like marital affairs, polygamy, lesbianism, general bitchiness, sad and lonely women, etc etc etc ..
so practically its better that they get married if they feel that they'd want to marry ... not every girl is cut out to be a spinster or a nun
