North & South

I'm back in the Southern hemisphere! It feels like I never left, everything is as it always was. All except my nieces and nephew who seem to of shot up into beanpoles. I'm adjusting to the heat and humidity and this amazingly strong sun that my poor pale skin can't seem to cope with anymore. The Frangipani trees are in full bloom, the mornings I'm woken by Rainbow Lorikeets (they're birds for those of you unfamiliar with Australia's fauna) and my family is very pleased to have me back. So life should be grand, however I'm not quite the same person returning to what should feel familiar to me. So I think a period of adjustment is ahead for me and those around me.
