Moving House - the end of an eraDecember 29, 2006 - 7:39pm | email this page
I’m moving house next week (my ‘home home’ in Shropshire, I’m a student in London). I have lived there for fifteen years and it has been the house I grew up in (I'm now 20). Lilleshall is a beautiful, picturesque village (middle and to the east of Shrops)and I doubt I will live anywhere like that ever again.
![]() (view from my house in Lilleshall) We are moving to a town called Beverley (a town in East Riding, near Hull) which is quite a nice place. ,with a huge Minster in the middle. My Dad is has got a new position in the church there (he has been wanting a fresh challenge for ages, so it was a blessing that he finally got this job). It is quite far away from London though! I’m not feeling sad about moving however, (though maybe it will hit me next week – who knows) as I’ve already moved on, when I came to college in London last year. I have very few friends left in Shropshire and, most of my important contacts are down in London now. It will be the end of an era though. I’m quite worried about my parents as it will be a huge change for both of them, so for those of you who know me, I’d appreciate any prayers. I'm only there for a few days before I'm back in London, so I expect it will seem unusual when I go back up there at Easter and in the Summer as it won't realy feel like home. I hope to make new friends anf find new opportunities, though. Butter's blog | report this page | 274 reads
