Going Crazy This Summer

Since the beginning of October, I have been busy studying part-time for a professional qualification whilst also holding down a full-time job.  It's been quite full-on.  I have a four hour lesson every Thursday night and most nights I pop to the college library after work to do assignments or further reading.

I have my last exam of the year in two weeks time, and then I will have an assignment based unit.  Then I will have the summer off until end of September/beginning of October.

Obviously, I've been looking forward to the summer break for some time.  After making many social sacrifices, I'm looking forward to being able to do whatever I want for a couple of months and try new things.

I've been wanting to try wall-climbing and bouldering for a while, so I've decided to sign up for a course in the summer.

Also, considering possibly going zorbing.  When I went to New Zealand, zorbing was an activity which sounded appealing but we didn't have time for.

I've already signed up for Home Focus.  I've got to move flat.  I'll probably visit my folks in Cornwall at some point as well.

The next academic year will be intense as it will be the final year.  So I want to make the most of this summer.

Does anyone have any suggestions of fun stuff I could do to make this summer a truly awesome one?

Three words: Kansas State Fair. I'll be encouraing everyone to come out for that.
What happens at the Kansas State Fair?
Zorbing is Fantastic. Go in the summer so you can try the water filled variety! :)
Oh you know...the usual...lawn mower races, demolition derby, carnival-like activities, concerts, chili cookoff and a competition amongst 14 year olds for who has raised the best cow.

It's a good time.
I went to a state fair kind of thing in California. It was brilliant - just like it would be in the movies. It was also the 1st time that I saw spherical people - people who are as wide as they are tall. That was nuts.
