On Saturday, I did a bit of shopping in Sutton with my brother who's down in London for a few days.

We went into the new Sportsworld store which had a massive sale on.

I eventually found something which amazed me with its genuisness.  It was the most amazing, most genius invention in the world ever.

Charles Verrall is a drama teacher and scriptwriter.  He's written books and used to teach at the Anna Scher Theatre School.

I used to regularly attend his Saturday morning Acting Improvisation workshops which were huge fun.

He now has a blog in which he gives words of wisdom about acting and about life in general.  Here is a recent exerpt.


Don't waste time and energy on the trivial: focus on what's important

Despite people's suggestions in a previous blog entry, I decide not to go as Moses.  The only robe I had was a dark grey towelling bath robe.  When I looked at myself in the mirror, wearing a big fake beard and my bathrobe, I thought I looked like a mental patient.
