I'm not afraid of Love

It's taken a while but here is a new song at last.  I hope you will enjoy. (lyrics and mp3 below)

kris you are top of my hit parade

I defy you not to be moved by this tune.  (Little Light)

Top Ten Albums

On the encouragement of kris, here goes.

1. Springbok Nude Girls - Afterlifesatisfaction
It blew my mind.  A band that made people want to start bands.  This was the promise of an SA music revolution.   But it seems no-one could follow them.  Saron Gas/Seether are probably the only band who have come close.

Lloyd Cole live in London

This man has provided a soundtrack to my life.  No, don't laugh.  His live shows are truly heart-warming.  He's playing in London soon.

These are my favourite lyrics ever

Lloyd Cole is just peerless when it comes to quirky, incisive lyrics.  Here's something off his forthcoming record Anti Depressant. (And here is a link to a demo of the track that Lloyd released on his blog.)

The young idealists

I know I said I favoured peaceful resolution
But that was when we were the young idealists

The young idealists
Raging through the coffee shops and bars
Make believe the world was really ours
And still supposing we could make a difference

Then

The ultimate mashup

Further to my last post, I had a moment of realisation this morning about what could possibly be the ultimate mashup.   One by U2 and Don't Look Back in Anger by Oasis.  Try it: play the chords of One and sing the words of Don't Look Back in Anger.  It's genius, I tell you.  If you enjoy the experience, do let me know.

Nice to see you

I only want to know Jesus

A song. Chords attached.
